Experience
Hidenori is a Managing Director and the Head of TGVest Capital Japan. He joined TGVest Capital in 2025. Prior to TGVest, he was a Managing Director at Cool Japan Fund, a government-backed PE firm, and led growth capital investments and the post-investment value creation in 4P's, Jumpstart Indonesia, Funding Societies, Stellar Works, etc. Before that, he led investments in Daiei, MEI Conlux and other companies at Advantage Partners, a Japanese buyout fund. He also held various management roles at Walmart Japan / Seiyu and Nissin Foods, where he was in charge of corporate strategy, transformation, business development, alliance management and value creation. He started his career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey.
He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Tokyo.
